Are you sick and tired of your cell phone dying? If so, you were probably like me with the cell phone, the camera, the gps unit, and the list goes on and on. I knew I was going to get a solar charger but I did not know which one at the time. Until I found I the K3 Charger. In this article I will tell you my experience with the K3 and some benefits to it and why I like it.

First, when I bought the K3 solar wind charger I was very happy because I purchased my for a really good price. I purchased the green colored model because it looked better than the black to me. Also I thought about the heat and how I do not want it to melt the plastic. Even if it is durable, I like to stay safe than sorry.

I wished I remembered about the Samsung adapter when I purchased my unit. But I decided to figure out another method before I called back the retailer, which was try Walmart. I finally found an adapter which was in Sam’s Club and it was the same price as online of course.

As for the power for the K3 wind charger, I really like it. I have been using my phone off and on through out the day and I have it charging now. It came fully charged and with two mini usb plugs. I also like the way it was packaged. And it is really lightweight. I was sure it would be heavy by the way it looks but it isn’t.

On the bottom of the K3, there is a slot for me to put my other adapters and plugs which is really great so I do not lose them. I think that the designers really put some thought into it. And on the front of the unit I like the size of the solar panel.

The solar panel that came with the battery charger is long. It is by far the biggest solar panel I have seen out of all the mobile solar chargers. And there is a cool pouch that I can put the unit into for when I am on the go. I also have the ability to stand it up and charge it or lay it down. I mostly just stand it up on my office desk in front of the sun at work. I have not used the wind yet, but I am curious how fast it will charge, but I am using the battery and solar for now.

Here is what I think about it, I like it and recommend it for people who need power for their mobile devices. Not just cell phones but GPS units and more. I also am happy to know it is lightweight which is a plus. I am still figuring out how to transport it though. I want to use it everywhere I am, but it is too big for my pockets. I guess I will leave it in the car for emergencies or when I am traveling.
